Kaye and Tom | Married | Beaver Creek Wedding Photographer

I was thrilled when I received an inquiry from Kaye, who at the time was living in Seattle and she was telling me about the Colorado mountain destination wedding they had planned for their friends and family.  I loved their love story having dated long distance from Seattle to Boulder, to seem them joined as husband and wife on their wedding day and starting their new life in the same state was such a joy for me.

They got married at the GORGEOUS Red Sky Ranch Resort just outside of Beaver Creek and I have to say it was one of my favorite outdoor wedding locations to date! We stayed in an amazing hotel and I gotta say I just fell in love with Beaver Creek.

It was very windy and it looked like the wedding ceremony was going to have to be moved indoors. But in the end they decided to push through and I am so glad they did!

They had this really unique part of their ceremony where the couple and officiant faced each direction(north,south,east and west) and different blessings were spoken!
